Holos (political Party)
Holos ( uk, Голос), translated as Voice or Vote, is a liberal and pro-European political party in Ukraine, which was led by Ukrainian musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk until March 2020. The party won 20 MPs in the 2019 parliamentary election and became part of the opposition in the current Ukrainian parliament. The party split late July 2021 and seven MPs were expelled from the party. As of September 2021, only nine of the party's 20 seats in the Verkhovna Rada are held by MPs who are loyal to the party; the remaining 11 are held by MPs who have formed a breakaway group called Justice ( uk, Справедливість; ''Spravedlyvist''). Name The name of the party has two meanings in the Ukrainian language - ''voice'' and ''vote''. Holos (software)
Holos was an influential OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) product of the 1990s. Developed by Holistic Systems in 1987, the product remained in use until around 2004. The core of the Holos Server was a business intelligence (BI) virtual machine. The Holos Language was a very broad language in that it covered a wide range of statements and concepts, including the reporting system, business rules, OLAP data, SQL data (using the Embedded SQL syntax within the hosting HL), device properties, analysis, forecasting, and data mining. Holos Server provided an array of different, but compatible, storage mechanisms for its multi-cube architecture: memory, disk, SQL. It was therefore the first product to provide "hybrid OLAP" (HOLAP). The Holos Client was both a design and delivery vehicle, and this made it quite large. Jonas Holøs
Jonas Holøs (born August 27, 1987) is a Norwegian former professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) and participated in the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics as a member of Team Norway. Playing career Holøs began playing for hometown Norwegian team Sparta Warriors of the GET-ligaen in 2002, but after the 2007–08 season he signed with Färjestads BK of the Swedish Elitserien. After the 2008 IIHF World Championship in Canada, he was invited to a summer camp with the Chicago Blackhawks. But on 21 June 2008, he was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League in the sixth round as the 170th overall pick. Returning to Sweden Holøs played in 55 games and recorded 8 goals for 16 points. Odd Steinar Holøs
Odd Steinar Holøs (8 April 1922 – 31 August 2001) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. He was born in Rakkestad. From 1956 to 1957 he was the chairman of the Youth of the Christian People's Party, the youth wing of the Christian Democratic Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Østfold in 1981, and was re-elected on one occasion. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1958–1961, 1961–1965, 1965–1969, 1969–1973, 1973–1977 and 1977–1981. He met as a regular representative in 1972 and 1973 meanwhile Lars Korvald was Prime Minister. In 1963, during the short-lived cabinet Lyng, he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Social Affairs.
